Fuel Frustration

Pittston Township, Luzerne County- Lou Decinti is feeling frustrated over fuel prices. He's putting just under forty dollars worth of gas in his fuel tank, but knows he'll right back at the pump sooner than later. "It's a big expense. Ya know, you got to do this here several times a week." says, Decinti. Jeff Carden is also feeling the pain at the pump. He's spending closer to fifty dollars to fill his gas tank. He's also keeping a close eye on the numbers. "I've seen a big hike. I work at a gas station so I see it go up." Wednesday's price for a gallon of regular gas at the Pilot in Pittston Township was $3.75. That price is five cents cheaper than the average price in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. For about a month and a half now, you saw it drop and now right back up." says, Carden. Joann Noll's driving habits are evening changing. "We haven't been going as far as we normally do. My children are out of state and they only come in once a year at Christmas because it's so expensive." says, Noll. "You know, you just can't do what you want to do. You know, you'd like to go on vacation or you'd like to just drive to the shore like we did years ago, but but you can't do that anymore. Ya know, it's just so expensive." Noll adds.
