Monroe County-The wintry weather  backed up traffic  on Interstate 80 in Monroe County for more than two hours Tuesday.
Then,  around noon - a tractor trailer caught fire stalling traffic even longer.
That slowed traffic which led to snow and ice building up in the Eastbound Lanes.   That  contributed to multiple chain reaction crashes.
Cars and trucks slid off the road.
The road was closed at the 80-380 split for a while, but it is back open now.
