Hyde Park Avenue Apartment Building Fire

Scranton, Lackawanna County- Fire forced five people from their Scranton apartment building Monday afternoon.
      Crews were called to the building on South Hyde Park Avenue just after five.
   The fire started in a second story bedroom.
   The five people who lived in the two apartments did get out safely, however a pet cat died in the fire.
     The building sustained heat, smoke and water damage.
     The Red Cross is helping those who were displaced by the fire that crews say is not suspicious.
