Scranton, Lackawanna County- The former director of the "Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit 19" had his guilty plea tossed out today.
Fred Rosetti pleaded guilty to improperly using funds and employees for his own benefit.
Today a federal judge rejected that plea agreement.
The deal called for Rosetti to serve 12 to 18 months in prison, and pay 120-thousand dollars in restitution.
But the judge said the sentence did not reflect the seriousness of the offense
Rosetti will head back to court in two weeks.
