Lake Forest, Illinois-
AS USUAL, THE TALK AT HALAS HALL IS HOW THE BEARS OFFENSE WILL HANDLE AN INTMIDATING DEFENSE.
THIS WEEK, THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS VISIT SOLDIER FIELD, SPORTING THE 5TH BEST TOTAL DEFENSE IN THE NFL.
- Jay Cutler, Bears Quarterback - "Bigger guys, gonna grab, gonna pull, gonna get up in our face. Gonna have to attack it a little different, I'll have to talk to B and see what he's comfortable with and go from there."
ALTHOUGH THE SEAHAWKS HAVE IMPOSING DEFENDERS, THEIR AGGRESSIVE STYLE MIGHT ACTUALLY PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BEARS.
- Brandon Marshall, Bears Wide Receiver -"I've been looking forward to this game for some time. Whenever you get a chance to play a little one on one, it's exciting. They throw some [Cover] Two in there but for the most part they do what they do and I'm excited about that."
- One Seahawks player that tends to get overlooked compared to their imposing defense is quarterback Russell Wilson. Standing at a diminutive 5 foot 10, Wilson has already made a humongous impact in just his rookie season.
- Corey Wootton, Bears Defensive End - "He presents a lot of challenges because he's a mobile, athletic quarterback that can make plays outside the pocket. I think the biggest thing for us is to contain and keep him at bay as far as that goes."
