Deadly House Fire in Hazle Township Being Treated As Crime Scene

Hazleton, Luzerne County- A deadly Luzerne County house fire is being treated as a crime scene.
The blaze broke out last night around 8:30 in Hazle Township along the 13-hundred block of Church Street.
A woman in the home was pulled unresponsive from the fire and died while a man was flown to Leigh Valley Hospital for treatment.
We're told one pet also died --
Investigators were still on the scene early this morning trying to figure out the exact cause...
No word on the survivors condition this morning.
