Wilkes-Barre Junior Council Collecting Items for Military

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- Wilkes-Barre City Junior Council has organized a collection drive of non-perishable items for active duty soldiers in the United States Military. They are seeking items for both males and females including but not limited to toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, razor blades, and soaps.
    Drop-off locations include City Hall and participating Schiel's Family Markets located at 30 Hanover Street and 7 George Avenue in the city. Store hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
   Junior Council Members will appear on WBRE's "PA Live" on Tuesday, January 29, to promote their drive.
