Starting Monday, the Main Street Bridge over the Lackawanna River in Old Forge will be off limits.
Penn-Dot says they plan to replace the bridge because it is structurally deficient.
The cost of the work will be nearly four million dollars.
Two detours, one for cars and the other for trucks, has been set up.
Officials say the bridge could be closed for roughly one year.
