Lawsuit Filed Against Luzerne County Controller

Luzerne County- An investigation into accusations of wiretapping is underway and the target is Luzerne County controller Walter Griffith.
The details of the investigation became public Monday, when the chairman of city vest filed a lawsuit against Griffith in Luzerne County Court.
Griffith had been probing "City Vest" and the hotel sterling when he allegedly recorded the conversation.
The lawsuit claims chairman Judd Shoval was contacted in July, and informed he may have been the victim of an illegal wiretap.
The lawsuit alleges Shoval was informed Griffith had recorded other phone calls with people, but does not identify who they are.
Griffith has yet to comment on the suit.
