Car Slams into Denny's in Wilkes-Barre (Noon Live)

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- It was a jarring morning breakfast for some people in Luzerne County.
An S-U-V barrels into a Denny's Restaurant on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre around 9:30
Several people were inside the busy restaurant. Two people were injured. . Eyewitness News News talked with one man who was sitting in a booth with his wife as the car came barreling into the building. He said there was no time to react.
The manager told Mark Hiller they hope to be open by late tonight or by tomorrow.. Police are investigating the crash.
Police say the driver of the vehicle is Alrick St. Michael Taylor of Wilkes-Barre. According to police he was arrested for suspected DUI and transported to Wilkes-Barre General hospital were he refused a chemical test.
