Captain James Robeson Memorial Fundraiser

Scranton, Lackawanna County-A fundraiser will be held this Sunday, January 6th  in memory of the 5th anniversary of Captain James Robeson's Last Call.  Captain Robeson was a proud member of the Scranton Fire Department who lost his life in the line of duty.
   In his memory, a fundraiser is being held to help others.   Proceeds from Sunday's benefit will help to purchase a much needed ambulance for Haiti through the St. Luke's Foundation For Haiti and Fr. Rick Frechette.
    The event is sponsored in part by the Scranton Fire Fighters. 
   The fundraiser will be held at Saint Mary's Center located on Mifflin Avenue in Scranton.  Tickets cost 20 dollars and include food and drinks.  The event will run from 2 pm to 7 pm.  There will be music and a basket raffle.  To purchase tickets in advance contact Linda Robeson at 570-466-3806, Lindarobeson@verizon.net

Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

  T-shirts will be sold at the event for $15. T- shirts can also be purchased before the event by contacting Linda Robeson or Bob Cochrane.

100% of the money raised from the t-shirts and tickets sales will be donated directly to the ambulance fund.
