Taylor, Lackawanna County- Riverside East Elementary school has gotten into the spirit of kindness.
Second graders there collected money for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. They also did good deeds ranging from holding doors open to doing extra chores without being asked.
They drew pictures of their kind actions Thursday
"It's important because some people can't do things on their own and sometimes they need help" said Second Grader Bella Capalongo,
Fourth graders at Riverside east have also been doing random acts of kindness.  Kiara's brother is in the fourth grade class and he said he is very thankful the community is honoring his sister.
