One Injured in Violent Crash in Plains Township

Plains Township, Luzerne County- One person was injured in a violent crash in Luzerne County Tuesday night.
     The crash happened in the south-bound lane on Route 309 in Plains Township around 10 o'clock.
     We're told someone drove onto the busy stretch of road in the wrong direction, lost control and smashed into several other cars.
     Officials shut down parts of the south-bound lanes to clean up the wreckage.
     State police are investigating.
