Scranton, Lackawanna County - Students from the University of Scranton spent Tuesday packing and sorting hundreds of gifts donated by students.

Volunteers spent more than an hour getting the toys and clothing ready to be donated to needy families in Lackawanna County.

More than 400 gifts were collected by the campus as part of the annual Giving Tree and Adopt an Angel programs.

All of the gifts will be given to people in need through the United Neighborhood Centers and Friends of the Poor, as well as Head Start programs and area group homes.
