Newsmakers To Air This Sunday: December 9, 2012 Topic Bullying

Bullying will be the focus of this Sunday's Newsmakers Program.The public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Lead I-Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.

Bugda and Mehalshick will be joined by Gary Mack, Teacher at the Wyoming Valley West Middle School and Coordinator of the CRAFT program (a school based awareness and safety program) and Gary F. Smith, Executive Director Parent Coach and Education Consultants of NEPA.

The conversation will focus on awareness to bullying in schools and communities and what steps need to be taken to ensure the problem does not continue to grow.They will also discuss how a strong family foundation and communication can help in dealing with bullying. The panel will also discuss what parents can do if their child is involved in a bullying situation.

Newsmakers airs Sunday, December 9th at 11 a.m. on WBRE TV and will rebroadcast at 11:30 a.m. on WYOU TV.
