Pedestrian Hit in Edwardsville

Edwardsville, Luzerne County - A woman is recovering in the hospital this morning after being hit by a car Sunday night. We are told she was crossing Route 11 in Edwardsville when she was hit around 6 o'clock. She is still listed in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Center. A child who was in the backseat of that car suffered minor injuries but was able to go home. The car's driver was not injured.
