Crews Save House in Two Alarm Fire

Hanover Township, Luzerne County -- Firefighters were called to battle a two alarm fire in Hanover Township.

Flames broke out Saturday night around 8:30 at 5 Simon Block Avenue.

Crews confined the fire to the basement and managed to save the home as smoke filled the rest of house.

The four people who live there had to stay elsewhere for the night.

The fire remained under investigation late Saturday night.
