Plains Township High Speed Pursuit

Another high-speed chase in the area.
It started after police were called to a restaurant on South Main Street in Plains Township Tuesday night when a man stole a car that was left running the parking lot.
Police from Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties followed the driver along Interstate 81 -- they say he topped speeds of 100 miles per hour.
The driver eventually crashed along the Central Scranton Expressway and took off on foot.
Anybody with information should call police.
