Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County- A polling location change caused some chaos in Central Pennsylvania this morning...
Upper Fairfield Township voters say-with this big election- they should have been reminded
There was a sign at the old location directing people to the new one.
But some voters didn't think that was enough and put up a few more.
Upper Fairfield Township made the switch in 2011.
The polling spot was originally in a one-room school house on Route 8-63.
It was moved to the Township Building on Route 87.
Many people believe another notice should have been sent this year. And more signs put up especially because there are a lot of elderly in the area and to see the sign posted you need to climb a flight of stair.
On the other hand people with the Township say they can't be responsible every year...
They feel the mailings sent out last year were sufficient.
Most of the voters were not bothered by the change... Saying they only had to go a couple minutes out of the way... But others felt it was an inconvenience because it made them late for work.
