Police Search for Suspect in Polk Township High Speed Chase

Monroe County- State police need your help tracking down the man they say led troopers on a high-speed chase in Monroe County and rammed into a cruiser.
 
    The crash happened in Polk Township Friday night at the intersection of State Route 5-34 and Merriwell Lane.
    State police tried to pull over 21-year-old Robert Smith III of Kunkletown when he was driving 107 miles per hour  in a 55 zone.
    He stopped, then rammed into a cruiser and injured a trooper, then took off.
 
    Smith was driving a Black 19-95 dodge pickup, with license plate Z-B-A-25-81.
    Anybody who knows Smith's whereabouts should call state police.
