Wayne County Commissioners Declare Disaster Emergency

The Wayne County Commissioners executed a Declaration of Disaster Emergency at 2:00 p.m. today to allow Wayne County Emergency Management Coordinator to coordinate the activities of the emergency response and to take all appropriate action needed to alleviate the affects of this disaster.

Also, the Wayne County Courthouse and Administrative Buildings will be closed on Tuesday October 30, 2012.

All Counties are waiting on an official decision concerning an extension of the deadline for Absentee Ballot applications, which are due in the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 30, 2012. Further information regarding an extension will be released by the Commonwealth
