Scranton, Lackawanna County - A man who broke into a Lackawanna County post office earlier this year is going to prison.
Jason Bartsch was sentenced to up to six years in prison Tuesday morning.
Investigators say Bartsch broke into the Clarks Summit post office in January tooking for a package of bath salts.
Police say he tracked the chemical stimulants to the post office but when the facility was closed because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, he took measures into his own hands.
When Bartsch was not able to find the bath salts, police say he stole a postal service jacket and hat.
Besides 23-72 months in prison, a judge sentenced Bartsch to serve six years probation.
