Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County-- The Wilkes-Barre Area School District is looking into allegations that a male school bus driver used the "N" word and aimed it an elementary student. The alleged incident took place Thursday afterburner at the Kistler Elementary School when a driver for the Williams Bus Company allegedly called the boy the "N" word. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Bernard Prevuznak told the I-Team, "We are committing the full resources to investigate the matter. I cannot say more than that at this point since it is a personnel matter." The owner of the bus company did not return calls for comment made by Eyewitness News. At least one school board member said she will call for answers at the next school board meeting.
