Two Women, One Juvenile Arrested in Meth Bust

On Tuesday October 16th 2012 Columbia County Adult and Juvenile Probation Officers discovered several items commonly used with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine at 505 Susquehanna Avenue in Berwick Borough.
Agents from the Office of the Attorney General, The Pennsylvania State Police "Clandestine Laboratory Emergency Response Team" and Berwick Police responded to 505 Susquehanna Avenue and dismantled a non-active Meth Lab which was discovered in the attic of that residence.
Agents and Berwick Police have charged Maria Mackenzie, Tamber Powell and a fifteen year old male with (1) manufacturing Methamphetamine, (2) conspiracy to manufacture Methamphetamine, (3) possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, (4) possession of the pre-cursor chemicals with intent to manufacture Methamphetamine, (5) possession of Methamphetamine and (6) risking a catastrophe. Bail for both Mackenzie and Powell has been set at $100,000 and both are currently lodged at the Columbia County Prison.
