Wilkes-Barre Mayor: Personnel cuts will be severe

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- The city's hundreds of workers should brace for the worst possible scenario come Monday. In an interview with Mayor Thomas Leighton (D) following Thursday's city council meeting, he warned union members should understand that they could be cut.

The announcement is expected to come as part of the mayor's budget presentation on Monday.
