We've just come off a summer filled with lots of burgers - beefy ones piled high with toppings - stuffed ones oozing with cheese - and lighter turkey burgers - but Howard, with what we've got cooking today, do you think anyone will miss those? Howard: well, I love a good hamburger just as much as the next guy, but I also like trying something different; and with how popular salmon is on our website we thought we wanted to come up with a new recipe that may put other burgers to shame! And watch how easy... we place about a pound of fresh salmon in a food processor along with a couple slices of white bread, a couple scallions, some lemon juice, and salt and pepper, secure the top on and pulse it a few times until the salmon's coarsely chopped and everything's well combined. Do yourself a favor, don't over do it... It sure looks fresh!! Now we form it into patties (large ones or we can even make 'em slider size ) either way - we cook 'em in a sprayed skillet for about...oh ...3-4 minutes per side, till they're cooked through. That's it! It's just like we're seeing at all the trendy restaurants! Mr. Food: And besides tasting good, they're good for us! Howard: So true... We can serve these burgers on a regular or whole wheat bun with a homemade dill sauce or even on top of a salad, and if we make'em bite-size, they're perfect as an appetizer drizzled with an Asian dressing! Mr. Food: look, the recipes for "Fresh Salmon Burgers", and the dill sauce are online now, for beating the burger blues... Howard: I know what I'm having for dinner ...how about you? Mr. Food: are you kidding? I can't wait to sink my teeth into the "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!! "
