Luzerne County detectives, Kingston police and at least one FBI agent searched the home and removed computers and boxes of materials.
According to a search warrant affadavit obtained by the I-Team the raid was promoted by a complaint form a New York man who claims he paid two doctors more than $20,000 for a malpractice review involving his mother's case.
Dr. Deborah McMenamin and her brother Dr. David Rigle allegedly demanded more money for their report but never produced a report. According to investigators Rigle even threatened to incinerate his mother's records if the New York man did not pay him $5,000 more for the report.
Eyewitness News talked exclusively to McMenamin who admitted she and her brother did not have medical licenses and she said, "My brother crossed the line and said some things that were inappropriate."
Charges have not been filed in this case.
