"No Txt NEPA: Taking the Pledge" Airs This Sunday

Eyewitness News continues to encourage you Stop Texting while Driving.
      It's not only a good idea, it's the law.
       This weekend Eyewitness News will air a special program  "No Text NEPA: Taking the Pledge." 
       The program will air this Sunday, September second at 12:30 pm on WBRE and will rebroadcast on Saturday September 8 at 11:30 a.M. on WYOU.
 
Anchor Candice Kelly will host "No TXT NEPA: Taking the Pledge"

  During the half hour we'll hear from the State Police concerning the the law and find out how PennDot is educating drivers about the dangerous of distracted driving.
   The program will focus on a mother who lost her son in an crash and is speaking out about the dangers of distracted driving
  We'll go behind the wheel of a big rig and see how the Luzerne County Community College Professional Truck Driving course is teaching students the rules of the road.
    Plus, we'll meet two West Scranton High School Students who are taking their No Text message to the radio airwaves.
