A Williamsport man and his wife are in trouble, accused of forgery and tampering with public records.
The Lycoming County District Attorney's office charged Christopher Bain and his wife Misty with circulating fraudulent petitions in his run for the 83rd State Representative seat.
Investigators say 61 people whose signatures appeared on the petitions said they never signed the documents.
If convicted the Bains would be banned from voting for four years and barred from holding public office for life.
