AAA School Safety Patrol Awards

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- AAA honored 15 students from several communities and counties for their excellence in school safety patrol. The students from fourth through eighth grades were recognized at a luncheon at Wyomng Valley Country Club. Eyewitness News Anchor Candice Kelly was a guest speaker and award presenter at Thursday's event. Students were recognized based on leadership, academics, and several other qualifications. The students were presented with a plaque and a gift card.
The 2012 Outstanding AAA School Safety Patrol Award Recipients are:

Erika Book from Valley Elementary School in Sugarloaf, PA
Juliana Bounsante from Wyoming Area Catholic in Exeter, PA
Jordan Givens from Kistler Elementary School in Wilkes-Barre, PA
Allison Houck from Sarah Dymond Elementary in Harding, PA
Christiana Huntzinger from Freeland Elementary in Freeland, PA
Bethany Jopling from Solomon/ Plains Memorial Elementary in Plains, PA
Dana Kingsbury from Benton Elementary in Benton, PA
Tiffany Kurt from Bear Creek Charter School in Wilkes-Barre, PA
Connor Novatnak from Fairview Elementary in Mountain Top, PA
Reilly Oman from Central Columbia Elementary in Bloomsburg, PA
Kelcie Shovlin from Good Shepard Academy in Kingston, PA
Allison Williams from Greater Nanticoke Area in Nanticoke, PA
Brad Worthington from Ogdensburg School in Ogdensburg, NJ
