Arrest Made In Schuylkill County Homicide

Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County - An arrest has been
made in a Schuylkill County homicide investigation.
State Police charged 18-year old Jarvin Huggins with the crime late Friday afternoon.

The body of 48-year old Gene Slavinsky was found in his Mahanoy City home Thursday night.
Troopers say the teenager broke into his house, lured him into the basement by cutting the electricity, then beat him to death with an iron rod.
Investigators say it happened Tuesday
morning.
Authorities tell us Huggins stole numerous
items from the home, including the victim's car.
