3/14- Bucknell Over #1 Seed Arizona in NIT Opening Round

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Bucknell is officially 1-0 in its National Invitation Tournament history, as the eighth-seeded Bison knocked off No. 1 Arizona 65-54 on Wednesday night at the McKale Center. Mike Muscala recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and four blocks, but the Bison outscored Arizona 9-0 after he fouled out with 2:59 to play.
Bucknell will next play fifth-seeded Nevada in the second round on Sunday at 3 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
Bryson Johnson scored 14 points, including a huge 3-pointer with 50 seconds left to stretch a four-point lead to seven. Cameron Ayers had his first double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Joe Willman also scored 10 points.
