Scranton, Lackawanna County - Testimony began Monday afternoon in the jury trial of a well-known businessman from Lackawanna County.

Bob Bolus is facing insurance fraud charges. He was charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.

Investigators say Bolus submitted an excessive claim after one of his tow-trucks was side-swiped in an accident in March 2009 in central Pennsylvania.

Bolus has denied the allegations since the charges were filed.

Several witnesses took the stand Monday, including the man who was driving the tow-truck that was hit by the dump truck near Altoona.
