The two alarm fire in Nanticoke broke out at the rectory of Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church on Welles Street.

Flames apparently started in the basement.

Neighbors spotted smoke and called 9-1-1.

His wife and eight children were not in the house at the time of the fire.
