Wysox, Bradford County - A food pantry in Bradford County that was heavily damaged by flood waters hopes to re-open by early next week.
More than 16 inches of water filled the Towanda Area Christian Outreach food pantry during the flood.
The organization lost several freezers and a lot of its food.
Workers have spent the last two weeks trying to rebuild the facility, which is located on Route 6 in Wysox.
"People keep calling. They don't know where to go for food and we do about 300-400 people a month on average and you get a little hungry after a while," Vice President Ed Krauss said.
The food pantry is a non-profit organization that helps families in the Wyalusing and Towanda areas.
