Bloomsburg, Columbia County -- Fair fall-out. Bloomsburg business owners are not keen on the fair being canceled.

Carmen Jones of Rampel Royal Blu Boutique says, "I was shocked when I heard the news. Everyone was talking about it. The fair brings in thousands of people to town and now we won't have that revenue. Our town needs that right now."

The fair brings thousands of people and their pocket books to Bloomsburg each and every autumn.

And no fair means no dough for local businesses.

But other shop owners understand why the fair was canceled.

Missy Crawford of B Green loft says, "I was disappointed but I understand. How can you have a celebration with so much devastation in the town surrounding the fairgrounds?"

There is an aura of disappointment in the town of Bloomsburg.

But the fair will go on...even if that means waiting until next year.

Angie Saluka of Tony's Lunch says, "We were looking forward to all of the business, but there's always next year. They say its going to be even bigger and better."
