It looked bad early but the Yanks rallied to get the win tonight against the Bison. Behind 4 nothing in the third the Yanks ran off 6 unanswered runs to get the win. An Eric Duncan single to left scored Alberto Gonzalez. In the bottom of the third the Yanks used singles by Brett Gardner, Justin Christian singles on a ground ball to shortstop Joe Inglett. With Kevin Reese batting, Brett Gardner stole 3rd base and on a trowing error by pitcher Jeremy Sowers scored. Kevin Reese had an RBI ground out scoring Justin Christian.
That was the turning point in the game. The Yanks carried that momentum into the bottom of the 4th. After a double and then a throwing error on a sacrifice bunt the Yanks scored one run and then later on scored again on a sacrifice fly by Wil Nieves.
Kei Igawa got the win going 6 innings giveing up 4 earned runs on 5 hits with 8 strike outs.
