Eric Duncan hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to lift Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over visiting Charlotte, 8-4, on Friday.
The homer, Duncans eighth of the year and second in as many nights, snapped a 4-4 tie and keyed a four-run seventh.
Chris Basak drove in Angel Chavez twice, with a double in the second and a single in the seventh, to help Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (55-42) to its fifth straight win and ninth in 10 games.
T.J. Beam (2-2) allowed one hit and struck three in three scoreless frames to pick up the win. Yankees starter Colter Bean allowed four runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts in three innings.
Earl Snyder and Scott Podsednik each had two hits for the Knights (46-55).
Jason Childers (2-1) took the loss after allowing four runs on three hits and a walk in one inning. Charlotte starter Lance Broadway allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks while fanning seven in six frames
