Newsmakers to Feature Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Program April 3

      The Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Program will be the focus of this Sunday’s Newsmakers. 

    
The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Lead I-team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.

    The panel will discuss the student advisory board which is made up of 26 students from the Schuylkill County Area School.  The students recently produced a video on Youth Suicide Awareness.  The group is also getting ready for an upcoming project called National Drug Take Back day on April 30.    Member of the task force are involved in a number of community awareness projects and programs throughout the year.

    This is will be a very informative program for parents and teens.

     Bugda and Mehalshick will be joined by Diane Rowland, Prevention Services Coordinator for the program, and  Deb Heim - Schuylkill County MH/MR Program and Chairperson of the Suicide Prevention Task Force of Schuylkill County

    Newsmakers will air this Sunday, April 3rd at 5:30 a.m. and 11

a.m.
on WBRE TV.  The program will rebroadcast on Sunday, April 10th at 5:30 a.m.  Newsmakers will also air on Saturday, April 9th at 6 a.m.
