RED BARONS WIN STREAK SNAPPED

THE SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE RED BARONS HAD THEIR THREE GAME WIN STREAK SNAPPED BY INDIANAPOLIS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT, 10-3. THE BARONS TOOK A 2-0 LEAD IN THE FIRST INNING, ONLY TO SEE THE INDIANS COME BACK, PUTTING THE GAME AWAY WITH FIVE RUNS IN THE 8TH INNING. SCRANTON NATIVE RON CHIAVACCI PITCHED ONE THIRD OF AN INNING FOR INDIANAPOLIS, STRIKING OUT ONE BATTER. THE TWO TEAMS PLAY AGAIN THURSDAY NIGHT AT 7:05 AT LACKAWANNA COUNTY STADIUM.
