13 Local Counties Now On List For Individual Disaster Assistance

(Friday, July 7) Three more counties in our area have been added to the list of counties that qualify for individual disaster assistance. Lackawanna, Montour, and Northumberland join 10 other counties where homeowners, renters, and business owners are eligible for financial aid in the form of grants and low interest loans. Flood victims in those 13 counties can apply for federal aid by calling 1-800-621-fema or logging onto www.fema.gov.
