By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
(Wednesday, May 24) Another fire at a vacant Scranton building had firefighters battling what they believe are the sleeping quarters of homeless people. Firefighters made quick work of the fire at the old Efcor Building on West Linden Street. The old building is a known spot for homeless people. Firefighters say they don`t know how the fire started, but tell us it`s filled with mattresses and clothes. Firefighters say they`ve been there dozens of times over the years. It`s not clear who owns the building.
