(Sunday, May 14) A teenager from Brazil died late Sunday morning after a boating accident at a Bradford County lake. Investigators say the 16 year old went out in a canoe onto Lake Ondawa in Springfield Township by himself without a life preserver. The canoe did have a boat cushion flotation device. It tipped over twice. He was able to get back in the first time, but couldn`t the second, and drowned as he swam to shore. Dive teams later recovered his body. The teenager was from Brazil and was at the lake as part of a youth fellowship group.
