(Thursday, April 13) Police in Lancaster County have made an arrest in the gruesome discovery of six bodies found Wednesday afternoon, some wrapped in blankets, in the basement of a home in Leola. 21-year-old Jesse Dee Wise, whose grandfather owned the home, was charged with six counts of homicide. The victims have been identified as Wise`s 64-year-old grandmother, Emily Wise, his two aunts, his two cousins ages 5 and 19 and another relative, 17-year-old Jesse James Wise. "According to the forensic pathologist, the cause of death for the six victims is listed as traumatic injuries, and the manner of death is listed as homicide. The arrest culminates from an all-night investigative effort," said Chief John Bowman. The Lancaster County D.A. says the victims were killed last weekend. Blood, bone fragments, and a hammer were discovered by police in the upstairs of the home. Police were called to the home after the grandfather could not get in touch with his family and asked a friend there to called 911.
