breaking news
(Friday, April 7) A woman in Laflin had a scary morning Friday as she lost control of her car and drove straight through her own house.
Police say 63 year old Mary Ann Drust backed out of her driveway at 12 Concord Drive just before seven Friday morning and crashed into her neighbor`s retaining wall across the street.
She then somehow got the car into drive, but went straight through her garage, then through her living room, over her deck, and into the pool.
Police say Drust was flown to the hospital.
The extent of her injuries is not known.
Police are continuing their investigation and say it appears the accelerator on the car became stuck.
