(Sunday, April 2) An investigation is underway in Wilkes-Barre to find the cause of a fire that damaged a motel Sunday night. Fire damaged four rooms at the Red Carpet Motel on Kidder Street just after 6:00 PM Sunday. Investigators say the flames started in the back of the building and quickly spread inward. No one was hurt. Owners say smoke and water damaged several other rooms. A State Police Fire Marshall was called to the scene, but has not figured out how the fire got its start in Wilkes-Barre
