Vandalism At Downtown Scranton Restaurant Under Investigation

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
(Tuesday, March 21) Scranton police are looking for a vandal responsible for some damage in the downtown. Officers say someone shot the windows of Smith`s Restaurant on Cedar Avenue with a B.B. or pellet gun late Sunday night. The owner, Ken Smith, tells WYOU News he counted at least 25 of the bullet marks. The restaurant has been in the Smith family for three generations and Smith says nothing like this has ever happened before. He is running for state representative in the 112th district, but he doesn`t believe that has anything to do with the vandalism.
