Fire Destroys Monroe County House

(Saturday, March 4) A Monroe County home is in ruins after fire early Saturday afternoon. WYOU News was on the scene on James Road in Ross Township, just after 2:30 PM Saturday. Investigators say people were working in a garage, when a kerosene heater overturned, and caught fire. The fire quickly spread from the garage to the house. Both buildings were completely destroyed. No one was hurt. The fire has been ruled accidental.
