Curry Named Head Coach at Wyoming Valley West

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Former Berwick Bulldog head football coach George Curry will now be the new head coach at Wyoming Valley West High School. The school board made the decision at a meeting Thursday night. They had to decide between Curry and long time Spartan head coach Ed Michaels. This all started January fourth when the school board voted to open the coaching job. Michaels said he would re-apply and curry also applied. There was no public forum Thursday because supporters of both sides had their opportunity to speak already.
