Out of the tragic loss of the 8-year-old Olyphant girl who was killed by a van last week - comes new hope. WYOU News has learned that the family`s choice to donate the organs of Mia Diaz has saved eight lives. Mia was hit Thursday by a mini-van and she died Sunday at a children`s hospital. Now a six-year-old boy will receive Mia`s heart and a nine-month-old baby boy will get a liver transplant. Five other children and an adult will also live because of Mia.
